Turn That Housing-Market Frown Upside Down

I know that the housing market can get a little depressing and a bit nerve racking especially for those wanting to sell.  Unfortunately it isn’t as easy as it once was to list your home and be on your merry little way.  Because selling is a very long and hard road to take, people are staying in their homes, waiting until the housing market makes a comeback.  In the meantime, there is still a need for change and the desire to make their home more comfortable, luxurious, and updated.  The answer… renovation!  I mean could you think of a better time to renovate your home?  Doing so will not only make it more appealing and comfortable for you while you are living there, but it will also add value when you go to sell and attract a lot more potential homebuyers when you do put it on the market.  It’s a win/win situation if you ask me!  If you aren’t exactly sure of where to start, hire an interior designer to come in and go over some ideas on how you want to approach your renovation.  From big to small, any updating you do to your home will make the world of difference for yourself as well as the future of your home selling.  Don’t let the “housing crisis” leave you feeling helpless… take action, get your house renovated and look forward to the day the lawn sign reads… SOLD!

This is a concept for a home renovation.  The kitchen, dining, living room, master suite, guest bath, and den/office were all reconfigured in this design. The client had a very specific color scheme of russets and idigos that were to be incorporated throughout the interior furnishings and colors. Plenty of space was requested to be left for storage of the impressive collection of antiques and chinese wood block prints.  Although this is a major renovation, even the smalles of change can make the biggest difference when choosing to ride out the housing market and remain in your home.
