Did you know that your home and office is a reflection of your mental state? I know this is a bit on the psychological side of design, but it is proven that the organization and clutter of your space is a reflection of how you are feeling mentally and emotionally. Look around… the pile of paperwork all over your desk, the array of boxes you need to go through at home, every nook and cranny completely filled with stuff that you forgot you even owned; all of these are a sign that you might be feeling emotionally frazzled. Now hear me out… my thought is that without even changing your hectic life, which might not be as easy as you would hope, de-clutter and organize your space. You will be able to breathe deeper and walk a little lighter knowing that everything is in its place. Think of it as mental spring-cleaning; you’re just “lightening the load”. Going through your belongings, boxing up stuff and de-cluttering closets, cupboards, and bookshelves is quite an easy task and with all the wonderful storage units they have on the market these days, you can really makeover your cluttered space in a heartbeat without even really getting rid of anything
Interior Designers are really busy these days helping clients get organized by renovating business offices, home offices and pretty much anything else you can think of that might need a little “tailoring” (so to speak). Re-organizing your space is a small price to pay for you to feel like a new person. There is nothing better than working in a clean, organized office or coming home to a beautifully composed space. You would be surprised by how much more productive and motivated you will be.
